Avoid "Solar Flare-Ups" of Rosacea This Summer
Besides
being embarrassing, rosacea can be frustrating, as it often begins to subside, then quickly breaks out again. That’s because the condition, in which chronically dilated capillaries cause redness and swelling on the face and neck, has many aggravating factors; and, as these include extreme heat and intense sunlight, which cause blood vessels to expand, it can worsen in the summer.
So,
if you have rosacea, be sure to use adequate sun
protection (of course, EVERYONE should do this), to avoid "solar flare-ups" on your face. Then come in for our non-invasive Intense Pulsed Light (IPL) Therapy, which can erase the symptoms of
rosacea, and even eliminate age spots and other sun damage.
