Advanced Vein Center: We'll Get Your Veins Back on Course

We'll Get Your Veins Back on Course

Although varicose veins may seem inevitable, there are preventive measures you can take. For example, as poor circulation is a risk factor, regular exercise (even brisk walking) helps to keep blood flowing. Also, leave legs uncrossed when you sit, elevate them for at least 30 minutes a day, and avoid standing or sitting for prolonged periods. But, if you must be on your feet a lot, wear graduated compression hose. Tightest at the ankle, it loosens progressively toward the top, to encourage upward blood flow.

Above all, remember to call us at the first sign of trouble, so that we can get your veins back on course.
