Think
your job is tough? Consider the formidable
task that leg veins face in re-circulating blood back up to the heart. Because factors such as gravity and body
weight increase the struggle, their valves often malfunction, allowing blood to
pool, and causing veins to become varicose.
So,
give ’em a leg up, and make their job easier.
Indeed, putting your legs up for a half-hour, whenever possible, really
helps. Don’t say you don’t have time,
either, because, unlike your veins, you get breaks from work. So, why not use them to help prevent varicose
veins?
