Step Lively to get Your Varicose Veins Treated

As we’ve established, varicose veins can be quite serious.  Moreover, if left untreated, the pain that they cause can become unbearable, and they may deteriorate to the point where they’re unresponsive to compression therapy, our first line of treatment. 

 If this happens, we will repair them by using VNUS Radio Frequency Vein Ablation.  In this procedure, we insert a small wire through the skin, and use ultrasound to guide it through the damaged vein.  Then, as we remove it, the heat from the wire will seal the vein, and the blood will be rerouted to healthy veins.  This will take fewer than 45 minutes, and will cause little, if any, pain.
